It was a day of surprises and celebration at John P. Freeman Optional School on October 25, 2018 when Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, surprises fourth-grade math teacher Erica Stephens with a 2018-19 Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
