Still stunned by the enormity of today's surprise, Eva Irwin addresses the students, staff and guests at her surprise Milken Educator Award notification, with Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken looking on. I just want to thank all the amazing people in my department for all of the support that you've given me."

Eva also shares that she plans to use the Milken Educator Award's financial prize to help pay for her master's degree in educational leadership and policy studies.
