At Longview Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ, teacher Ana Gutierrez jubilantly called her husband to tell him she was presented with a Milken Educator Award and a check for $25,000 by Milken Family Foundation Chairman and Co-founder Lowell Milken. On hand for the presentation was legendary Baseball Hall of Fame member Tommy Lasorda to congratulate her on her award.
